The Fold is a multi-space venue used for filming, production support, and crew operations. The space allows production designers to build, dress, and light scenes from the ground up.
Our space is perfect for:
Narrative scenes requiring a controlled environment
Commercial shoots with changing layouts
Productions needing continuity across multiple setups
Additional Film Locations
The Fold can be combined with up to two additional 5,000 sq.ft. spaces on adjacent floors. They have a distinct atmosphere from The Fold, and can be incorporated to save time moving between locations, or serve as supplemental space for multifaceted events or production team spillover.
Prototype is adorned with unique art and has a large stage with professional lighting and sound. Phenotype is an open-concept arts loft that has been used for theater productions and dance parties.

The Fold is located in downtown Paterson, New Jersey, with convenient access from across Northern NJ and New York City. The venue is a short drive from Clifton, Totowa, Woodland Park, Little Falls, Hawthorne, and Prospect Park, and is easily reached from Bergen County towns including Ridgewood, Paramus, Hackensack, Fair Lawn, and Teaneck.
Crews traveling from Essex County areas such as Montclair, Bloomfield, Nutley, and Newark can reach the space without difficulty. For groups coming from Manhattan, Route 3, I-80, and NJ Transit bus routes provide direct access to the area. Parking is available nearby.
